Welcome to the virtual home of Tone-Acity!

We are Lesley, Lorna, Jeni & Claire and we are a four part, acapella harmony quartet. Our repertoire consists of a wide variety of songs ranging from blues and barbershop, to modern show tunes and pop songs. We love to entertain people through the power of music and have also been known to dance occasionally (yes even Claire!!)

We are a competing quartet and last year took part in our first Sweet Adelines regional convention.  We were placed 10th out of 24 quartets and had a wonderful time with lots of singing and meeting many new friends.  We are working hard towards this year's competition and can't wait to be back on the amazing Birmingham Symphony Hall stage.  We have been previous finalists in LABBS quartet competitions in 2002 and 2004, and won medals at various Music Festivals in Ireland. We even had the pleasure of singing in front of Simon Cowell, Sharon Osbourne and Louis Walsh for the ITV1 show "The X Factor".

We also perform and compete as members of the highly successful and renowned Heartbeat Chorus, a group of 40+ ladies whose ages range from 17 to over 70. As a chorus we have gained a reputation for being feisty, fun-loving and fantastic, whose singing skills are surpassed only by our ability to turn any situation into an excuse to party!!!
